2022 Silver Lining Cabernet Franc 750ml

Gobs of red fruit abound from this juicy unoaked Cabernet Franc. The nose wafts forth with Bing cherry, pomegranate, and enough cranberry to make Ocean Spray jealous. The palate is surprisingly savory and brambly, more marigold than rose petal, a hint of oregano, and equal parts smooth finish and lip-smacking grip. Enjoy lightly chilled by itself on a warm day, or at cellar temperature with seared duck breast in a cherry gastrique.
