Strawberry Baguette

One of my all-time favorite recipes to make every summer with the strawberries are at their best. A perfect combination of salty and sweet – this is the best appetizer to bring to your memorial day party this weekend!⁠

What you will need:⁠
8 oz. feta⁠
1/2 cup Greek yogurt⁠
Drizzle of Patricia & Paul Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil⁠
1/2 tsp Red chili flakes⁠
Cracked pepper⁠
Minced garlic about 1/2 tsp⁠
2 lbs. fresh strawberries⁠
2 tbsp Patricia & Paul Strawberry Kiwi Rosé Balsamic Vinegar⁠
1.5 tbsp honey⁠
1/2 shallot about 1/4 cup⁠
French baguette⁠
Fresh basil chopped⁠

Preparation:⁠
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Slice your strawberries into 1/4's (removing the stems) place into a large bowl with honey and balsamic vinegar. Thinly slice the shallot and mix that in with the strawberries. Add to a sheet pan with parchment paper and roast for 30-35 minutes. Let these cool completely.⁠

While the strawberries are roasting in the oven, to a food processor add the feta, greek yogurt, olive oil, cracked pepper, garlic, and red chili flakes. Process until smooth and place in the fridge.⁠

Once the strawberries are cooled, pour feta into a low bowl, top with strawberries, add chopped fresh basil, drizzle with olive oil. Serve with toasted bread! Enjoy!
